What Is a Core Purpose?
An organization's "core purpose" is its fundamental reason for existing. A core purpose goes deeper than a mission statement or the vision of its leaders. Organizations should have those, but those who truly know who they are and what they believe have a core purpose that is their guiding light and steers every single decision, every single day.
