Scholar Pathways

At Cassata, every student is a scholar, but not all scholars have the same needs. We offer a number of flexible learning options we call "Scholar Pathways" so that, here, students in a variety of circumstances can have the opportunity to find success.

At Cassata, we have a pathway for your child.

Pathway Details

Achieve Pathway

​Students on the Achieve pathway:

  • Are required to attend the full school day

  • May enroll in a traditional 6-course load or only 3 courses at a time

  • ​Must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA (B average)

  • Must be present at school at least 90% of the school year

  • Pursue the Foundation with Endorsement (26-credit) graduation plan

  • Enroll in honors and dual-credit courses

  • Take 2 years of Latin

  • ​Are expected to complete homework regularly to engage deeply with Cassata's rich and rigorous curriculum and make steady progress

Accelerate Pathway

​Students on the Accelerate pathway:

  • May attend school the full day or only the morning or afternoon sessions

  • Enroll in 3 courses at a time

  • Complete the Foundation (22-credit) grad plan

  • ​Are expected to complete approximately 6 hours of coursework per day in order to stay on track to graduate on time, whether that is at school or at home

Access Pathway

​Students on the Access pathway:

  • Attend school only in the morning or the afternoon

  • Enroll in 3 courses at a time

  • Complete the Foundation (22-credit) grad plan

  • ​Are encouraged to complete coursework outside of school hours, with the understanding that the rate of a student's progress will depend upon his/her individual circumstances and challenges

Flex Pathway

​Students who qualify for the Flex pathway have a totally-custom academic program designed for them because their needs are truly unique.
